Education in Folsom, CA

We understand the importance of the knowing what is available in and offered by the city. For those families with children, the standard of education needs to be addressed.

There are approximately 15 public schools in Folsom consisting of 10 elementary, 2 middle schools, 3 high schools.

There are also several private schools although the private school for high school only goes through the 10th grade. There are also many pre-K schools which have received good reviews.

According to the Great Schools ranking for Folsom, many of the Folsom schools ranked an 8 or above on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best based on state-wide testing scores. Most of the public schools provide a very good education for children. Three of the elementary schools were rated 10, and two of the three high schools were rated 9.
